If you are in a hurry, you would simply call this a 3-in-1 poker table, but if we want to be very particular, then it is "Imperial 3-in-1 Bumper pool poker table top with four chairs, of mahogany finish". This is actually a classy one, and I have seen more than a few friends buying one for him/herself. It is indeed multi-functional, and would save a lot of space. Why is it called "3-in-1 poker table": because it could go from a dining table to a poker table to a bumper pool, all in a flash. To get into the bumper pool mode, all that is needed is to remove the top!
Weighing 295 pounds, dimensions are 48'' L x 48'' W x 32''. It could accommodate eight individuals but since there are just four chairs coming with it, the question is- how come? I will leave you to your own devices in finding out the answer, well, you could buy one- it's an investment.

If you want to become a true Holdem maestro in the far-off future, then accept the fact that there are a number of facets (in the game) that you should not only know, but you should imbibe. Among these would be the knowledge on Holdem poker bets. The fixed limit kind of games are among the most prevalent, and in this genre of games, the Holdem poker bets are of 2 kinds. They are the high-betting and the low, let me go to a concrete example. Assuming you are at a ten-twenty dollar game, in the first round, all Holdem poker bets would have to come in on ten-dollar increments, thus, if a wager is at ten, the other person could raise it to twenty, that or call the bet. A basic technique to be used insofar as Holdem poker bets are concerned: focus on the possibility of the others' hands- watch out for tells. Many casinos confine the number of maximum raises to just 3 for every round, but that is just a practice, it's not a law. Number of permitted raises for each betting run would serve as a factor in one's betting strategy. Of course, that is just one among other considerations.

It is the globe's first locus where the players could download video games (real), that or go head-to-head with other fighters. Actually, Skillground takes in players of all kinds of skills, their rating system would guarantee that a player would be able to get an opponent of his/her class. Without a doubt, SkillGround is committed to the service of the gaming sectors, and to become a partner is very manageable. Just sign up and you could receive the tools/reports. One of their most popular facets is the Deathmarch, and in here, you would face off gamers in a "war to the finish", and it is popular because this game hosts multiple competitors. Now, let me give you a little bit of news- Share Results has just disclosed that SkillGround (and actually Utour Golf) are now part of their affiliates. According to the top man of Share Results, SkillGround would give the affilates an ideal opportunity to be in a program committed to the provision of top-notch entertainment- I rephrased that, but that is the gist of it. This partnership offers a big number of banners and text links, and also XML feeds. So there, I am done, now you can go and check them out.

At the Macau areas, one of the highly-decorative, very elaborate new poker rooms has just been put up. It is the Grand Lisboa, shaped just like a lotus flower, and whose patrons are mostly from the mainland. In case you still don't know, Macau is the one place (China) where the casinos are legally permitted. This Grand Lisboa is the asset of billionaire Stanley Ho, and this fifty-two storey building would have a 430-suite hotel (still being worked on), while the lobby is adorned with 500,000 plus crystals and gold-plated decorations. It is now expected that this model of new poker rooms would entice individuals and families to take longer visits, whether or not they gamble or not. New poker rooms are not confined in Macau of course, Sheldon Adelson (one of the wealthiest in the US) just celebrated the opening of his £2 b, Italian-motif Venetian & Palazzo at the Vegas Strip, and here is more interesting tidbits. This Palazzo may just be one of the so many new poker rooms in the world, but the owner has this in mind- that it would just be the first of ten mega-resorts which should drastically increase the size of the Strip four years from now.

The Mansion Poker rakeback is one of the most competitive in the industry, and they have an upcoming program which should make you sit up and notice. Each account entered by June 30 would get the max 36 percent for life, YES- THAT'S FOR LIFE. Let me make this clear, all accounts standing by July 1 onwrds would not be qualified for the rakebacks. Bad news for American players though, this site is not accepting them (you, if you are American) at present, but I need not say why, we all know about those laws. OK, OK...the UIGEA, in case you have been sleeping for the past 10 years, that or you had temporary insomnia. Still on Mansion Poker Rakeback, let me just give you the steps for signing up: first, assuming you've gone to the website already, clear the cookies. If you do not know how, ask your teenaged daughter/son, she would surely know how. Second, download, then software installation follows. Third, finishing up means shelling out for the deposit, then do some raked hands, but once all this is done, you need to email the site, giving them the usernames (2 kinds of them), and that's about it. The site would set up the rakeback figures to be accessed later on.

I thought AOL simply means e-mail. But when I found out about AOL Games, there's only one thing I could say to myself: holy cow! I never thought AOL could have lots of features aside from allowing people to communicate with each other. So, what games are on AOL Games? Right now, there are around 570 games featured on AOL Games. These range from bingo games to video games to club games and many, many more! Here are some examples: pogo, solitaire, finders keepers, family feud, slots lounge, bingo luau, solitaire race, scrabble, bookworm, sweet tooth, puzzle galleries, jewel quest, and cradle of Rome. There's also pogo and, yes, my all time favorite, poker. Let's get to the poker game via AOL Games. Currently, AOL Games has a lone poker game in its shelves, and it's the very popular Texas Hold 'Em poker, specifically the World Series of Poker version. The cool thing about this is you don't just get to play a copied version, you play the exact, authorized World Series of Poker Texas Hold 'Em game. And, it comes at absolutely no extra cost. You can also get from this site photos and video clips of special World Series of Poker tourneys and events. On the other hand, you may get your daily dose of WSOP news from this site, too.

I hate arithmetic but I love poker. Do they always have to go together? I asked this question when I first encountered poker odds. Poker odds have a very nosebleed incurring definition that I would like all you nut brains like me to prepare your cotton cloths in case the red hemoglobin filled fluid starts gushing down from your nostril. How do I define poker odds and why do I have to do it the mathematical way? Poker odds for me can be best described by one word: probability. Probability is the chances (the odds, so to speak) that a certain happening or event will occur. This probability is expressed in the form of a ratio, say, 5 is to 1, or 5:1. Ratio is still very much mathematical, isn't it? In a poker game, there are usually two odds that poker players want to know more about, and those are their odds to the pot and their winning odds. Basically, poker players want to learn their odds because this will let them know how far they still have to play to make sure they win and enhance their chances of bagging the pot money. That's why however much I hate maths, I know that as long as I love poker, I'll never be able to do away with it.

He's putting his chips into the pot now. You're excited because you know that this is a defining moment: he's going to call. But instead of the magic word like what you expected... what? He's making a raise? Ooh... the nerve of him! So, the question right now is, is that fair or unfair? Situations like this are called string bets. Just like the proverbial string, what the player does (i.e., putting in the pot his chips that is a prerogative to calling) leads his opponent to believe that he'll actually make a call. But instead of saying, "I call," he says, "I raise." Or, the obnoxious player may adopt yet another worse script: "I call, alright. And, yeah, I'll make a raise." Let me just remind you now, fellow poker enthusiasts, not only is this detrimental to other players! However, sometimes, the situation just gets so nerve-wracking that you're tempted to do a string bet to save your life. So, what can you do? First and foremost, remember that you're not prohibited to make a raise, since that's what these string bettors seem to be after most of the time. But, do keep in mind that there are rules. Either you put all the chips involved in your raise in the pot with just a single move, or you state the raise amount. If you think that's not an option? Come on now, have a life! There's more to life than just playing casino games and stuff. Invest on something more useful.
