In hosting your own poker game, there are many critical factors to bear in mind, here are some of them, pay particular attention to that pertaining to the poker chips and table.
Make sure there is a good enough field, send out those invites early, not the day before. Prepare 2 sets/decks per table, it would save time, one deck could be shuffled while the other set is active. Poker chips and table should be sufficient for at most ten gamblers, the former in terms of quantity, the latter in terms of dimensions. Setting up a side table (with a differing kind of chips) is a good idea, if what you would be hosting is a tourney-kind of affair. In this poker chips and table event, it is suggested by experts to have around five hundred chips for each ten gamblers in the tourney. If it's a Holdem tourney, the chips do not need to be equivalent to dollar sums, since the prize cash would go to the final two (or three, or one).

The PokerStars Bonus is 100 percent (deposit) upon the first real-cash deposit within a qualifying period of time. Take note, there are bonuses that expire, and one needs to amass player points. Actually, the typical Pokerstars bonus is both generous and competitive, and this is one reason why they have remained very strong in the market. Here is a good question: if the site has another kind of enticement/bonus, could the patron avail of both? Assuming the gambler has never deposited prior, he could, but to do this, he would have to deposit via 100 percent first deposit scheme. On the second deposit, he could utilize another bonus code for another transaction. Take note, make sure you read all terms of that other incentive, particularly eligibility time frrame. The competitions in this site could also be said to be a PokerStars bonus, after all, their satellites are doors to the biggest poker competitions (they have freerolls too).

They started operations in 2004, and thanks to a strong marketing mindset, it grew from a newbie (in the industry) to now one of the movers and shakers. If you refuse to believe me, consider the sponsored veterans of Full Tilt, among many- you would find Phil Gordon and Phil Ivey. In times of peak hours, Full Tilt has recorded up to ten thousand cash games, this in the real-cash games-these are NL and Limit games. I am sure you would like to find out what the casino offerings are: they are S&G tourneys, Holdem, Omaha, and the 2 principal variants of the 7-card STud. That is not all, RAZZ and the HORSE events are not neglected by Full Tilt. Full Tilt's software is very good, with no obvious bugs or glitches. It runs for both Windows and Mac, and navigation-wise, it is one of the best. Shown stats at the lobby would aid one in choosing the best game for him/her, with average pot sizes, hands/hour and others as the criteria. If you are a bonus-hunter, you won't be disappointed with Full Tilt, one hundred percent up to 600 dollars, by either a direct visit or the signup code.

It is one of the old-standing online gambling rooms, Ultimate Bet is the name, and yes, Ultimate Bet poker action is one of the most popular in today's generation. Phil Hellmuth's fans surely know this room, for this pro is one of the mainstays of the gambling room. Ultimate Bet poker offers a good welcome incentive, plus a software supported by the best in the industry, such as Poker Tracker. In the way of promotions and bonuses, Ultimate Bet poker -besides welcome bonuses- has reloads and a comp point mechanism for those who are comp-hunters. Ultimate Bet poker also includes tournaments, and this runs the sphere of freerolls up to the S&Gs, up to the MTTs. Some would say the pinnacle of Ultimate Bet poker action comes from the Online Championships which they offer, and this is a set of poker competitions that entice many kinds of poker players all over. The guaranteed cash rewards could reach up to one million dollars, yup, you've read that right, one million. This room shares games with other Net gambling rooms, but it is beyond question that they are one of the biggest within this network, and if you as the player- cannot find your ideal game at the Ultimate Bet poker tables, then your ideal game is probably a figment of your imagination (with due respect).

So, I've been asked not a few times by not a few individuals, what I recommend as good gifts for poker player or players. Well, actually, including the creative kind, if I list and explain everything here, I'll build a tome. Which I am not inclined to do, not by a long shot. However, I'll give a few, but before that- let me mention this. Professionals Chip and Karina came out with some things that would serve as wonderful gifts for poker player, particularly if that player is a relative. The said pros by the way is a couple, and JettPoker, Inc is the name of their thing. Their "Poker's Most Wanted" has been based on the deck showcasing the pctures of 54 of the strongest players at present. If you do not think these would serve as notable gifts for poker player, then how about the Poker's Most Wanted cap? WPT has their share of items, and almost or all (depends on you) of them could make a birthday celebrant (or whatever the occasion) smile. Bar mirrors, poker mats, chips, and if you want something that could be said as "incredible", here's one more suggestion. Get the WPT PINBALL machine, that would cost about five grand. If you are the type who sticks to the classic kind of gifts for poker player, year in and year out, then by golly, go buy another poker book- it's still a present.

Do casinos hire poker players: yes they do, and let me give you two kinds, the first is the shill. Shills are gamblers employed by the House, and the House shoulders the shill's bankroll. In certain places, the use of shills is unlawful, and for the average poker buff, knowing that a shill is at the table would suffice to make the former stand up and look for another game. Many would believe that the games are rigged if players are sure that one shill is at the game with them, but of course, we cannot and we should not generalize. Now, let me repeat the question, do casinos hire poker players? They sure do, and besides shills, there are the propostion or prop players. They are in many ways just like the shills, with one crucial and glaring difference. The prop player is a worker paid a set amount to join shorthanded tables, but their bankrolls are not shouldered by the establishment. The basic rationale for having this kind of employee: to make sure that the sufficient number in a game would be able to start or to keep going. Ordinarily, these prop players are not allowed to remain at the fullhanded games. These employees are usually compensated by the hour, but for some casinos, the pay is in accordance with the number of holdings finished.

There are many different types of poker games. This can be quite confusing to those who are just starting off as poker players. Just to give you a primer on the different types of poker games, let me give you information on the three most common types of poker games: Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha, and Seven Card Stud.] Right now, I believe that if there's going to be a poll as to what poker game is the most popular, Texas Hold 'Em's going to win hands down. Given this, I think most of you already have at least an idea of what Texas Hold 'Em is. It's actually Seven Card Stud that hold the crown before TV and movie producers discovered the commercial properties of Texas Hold 'Em. On the other hand, Omaha poker, I've just noticed, is almost always offered wherever there's Texas Hold 'Em. Texas Hold 'Em and Omaha are both community card games. A community card game can be played with up to ten players on the table. The table uses only one deck of cards, of which each player takes turns trying to come up with the best hand. On the other hand, in Seven Card Stud, each player has his own deck of cards and the only thing it has in common with the two other games is how the hands are valued.

My girlfriend is one big poker fanatic. Texas Hold 'Em poker, Omaha poker, Stud poker, even strip poker... name it, she can play it! she likes Chris Ferguson's fashion sense but she thinks Phil Helmuth's simple yet powerful poker tactics are way cooler. So, why am I ranting here about my girl? That's because she just celebrated her birthday last week. As usual, we played a never ending game of poker with her friends and my roommates. When I lost, I sulked in the corner while watching her eyes pop everytime she took in another big stack. But this time, I took control of part of the situation. First thing I did was I organized a big poker birthday bash for her and our friends at our fave poker joint (I always organize her birthday parties). Come the evening, I led her to a somewhat secluded and romantic spot by the countryside. I lit up a lot of candles, spread out the picnic cloth, and handed her a box. It's a poker gift set. The poker gift set contains her very own, first ever set of cards, chips, and self-help poker books. she hugged me very tight and we ended up playing strip poker. The rest, well, is history.

I bet you guys already think poker's exciting enough. However, based on my own experience, the fun dwindles once my wife pitches in and starts belting out her loud mouth on the table. Oh no, don't get me wrong. I love my wife, but I'd really just prefer it if she stays away from me during my poker game. That is, until I learned about strip poker. It works just as naughty as it sounds. Instead of money, you put whatever you have on into the pot. Of course, whoever gets to strip off less clothing wins. But then, I noticed that with strip poker, it's not really the pot that matters any more. What matters is how far each player can go with being nude. And, guess what? It has even worked wonders with my relationship with my wife. Whenever we go to this strip poker joint, she gets real sexier, and I get to appreciate her even better. There's one strip poker event I joined with my wife that I can count as the most memorable. Well, we both lost in the game and wound up going home in just bath robes we asked our friend to buy for us since we can't go out in the open stark naked. Thank goodness the car was up and running that time or else.... When we reached home, there were no lights. There were just candles and the sweet smell of incense. Such a reward for having a blossoming relationship... thanks to strip poker.

Nope, it's not PawNetwork, where you get information about dogs and cats and other household pets. It's P-A-W Network, which means Poker Affiliate World Network! So, what is this website all about? When I first browsed the site, I got, well, a little bit confused about what it's actually for. But after a few careful perusals in the pages, I drew out one fact that's for certain: PAW Network is great help for websites that are essentially for gambling, casino, poker, and sports betting. So, what is PAW Network, really? It may be safe to say that it's a web designer online. It designs, for just the proverbial tuppence, your online gaming portal to make it look really state-of-the-art and at par with the latest in the industry. What credibility has PAW Network established over the years? It's been known to make waves in making poker blog sites look like fashionable magazine or newspaper websites. That actually has been the trademark of PAW Network. They are also known for the classic themes for Word Press. PAW Network currently offers three packages: the blog package, the developer package, and the personal use package. Pay via credit card (they accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), or through how I pay them--via the secure payment solution site PayPal.
